Two Greedy Italians on BBC2
Hello! As you might have heard, I am back on BBC 2 this Thursday the 19th April 8pm (my 75th birthday) with Gennaro in our new series of the Two Greedy Italians. I must flag up that the BBC are going to have to break the run of Greedy Italians because of the World Snooker Championships, so will play episodes 1,2 on 19th & 26th April, then miss a week and return with 3,4 on 10th & 17th May. I hope you will all enjoy.

Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo return to Italy, where they continue their culinary journey. They begin in the southern region of Calabria, where they reminisce about their favourite childhood meals. Antonio reveals the secret of his hot packed-lunches while Gennaro shares his memories of the ritual pig kill. Featuring recipes for orzotto - a pork and pearl barley risotto - fish stew, and rice cake flavoured with orange.

Two Greedy Italians DVD
The kings of Italian cuisine Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo return to Italy together to remember their own pasts and discover how the culinary capital of the world is changing the way it cooks and eats. Travelling to different Italian regions, they uncover a changed Italy in some areas and a fiercely traditional, mostly untouched world in others.
In each of the four hour-long episodes, Carluccio and Contaldo will create dishes using recipes, ingredients and influences they discover along their gastronomic journey as well as some of their own favourite traditional meals.
The journey is distinctly personal, drawing upon Antonio and Gennaro's upbringing in Italy through their memories and anecdotes, whilst reflecting their sometimes fractious, often hilarious relationship.

Well I finally have a date for you all for the second series of Two Greedy Italians - April 19th BBC2. It's a double celebration for me as it's also my 75th birthday!
February update
Can't believe we are in February already, the days seems to be flying past this year! All the filming for the next series of Two Greedy Italians has been finished, just voice over to be done now, no date as yet but keep your eyes peeled we will let you know as soon as we have a date.

My adopted pig, Sophia Loren seems to be enjoying herself, seen here enjoying a mud treatment. Looking forward to visiting her in May at The Malton Food Festival - wondering what Truffle will think of her!
