Winner of my Joke Competition

I am delighted to announce the winners of my recent joke competition as David Barnes from Petersfield and Grace Blackmun from Southfields. Both gave me such a chuckle and I look forward to having lunch with both of you in coming weeks.

Thanks to everyone who took time to send me their jokes. It proved a very difficult task to decide a winner. However, David's stood out as he had thought up a very funny and personal joke related just to me and Grace, who has sent me in so many great jokes, showed enthusiasm and abundance of wit. Both are very worthy winners and I have already enjoyed sharing their jokes with friends and family.

Although the competition is now over, please keep sending me your jokes - I love nothing more!

Simple Cooking

I am on a mission to pass on the simple pleasure of cooking good fresh food, and to inspire novice cooks with confidence and a repertoire of reliable dishes for all occasions.

My new book, Antonio Carluccio's Simple Cooking, provides lots of recipes which are all very easy to cook, perfect for those with little experience or who are short of time. It will be available from early September.
